Letters from Grateful
Businesses, Doctors and Peers
Dear Taustine Eye Center,
On behalf of our CEO, Dr. Walter Malone, Jr., our Board of Directors and the children, individuals, and families we serve, I would like to extend our warmest thanks for your support of our Harambee Festival. We realize that you could have made an investment in another worthwhile project, yet you saw it fit to invest in our vision and we do not take that for granted.
Canaan Community Development Corporation is an organization with a mission focused on empowering men, women, and youth through opportunities in education, computer technology, employment, housing, and business development. It is because of organizations like yours, who believe in our mission, that allow us to continue to make a positive impact in the community we serve.
Again, we greatly appreciate your generosity and we thank you for embracing our vision. In the true meaning of Harambee, may we continue to work together in our efforts to empower the community!
Sincerely,
Executive Director
Dear Dr. Taustine,
It was a pleasure to observe you in surgery. Your surgical skill has certainly not been exaggerated. I learned very much in the short time that I observed you working.
Again, thank you very much for allowing me to come and if possible I would like to observe your surgery again in the near future.
Sincerely,
Grateful Doctor
Dr. Taustine,
Our academic year is drawing to a close. On behalf of the residents of the University of Louisville Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, I would like to thank you for your continued commitment to our program. Even with your personal obligations and practice demands, you continue to offer your time for resident education.
It is my hope that your interest and commitment to residency training and its many challenges continue for years to come. The University of Louisville Ophthalmology Training Program would cease to function without the valuable contributions of physicians like you.
The residents look forward to working with you again in the coming year!
Dear Dr. Taustine,
Thank you for the lunch you bought for us the other day. We really enjoyed it. I also want to thank everyone there for the help I have been given whenever I've called about any of my patients. I really appreciate it!
Sincerely,
F.
Dear Dr. Taustine,
Thank you for coming to speak to our group about cataracts. It was so kind of you. I know the group gained a lot of knowledge and we are appreciative. I hope I can ask you again next year.
Sincerely,
JFVS
Letters from Grateful Patients
Miracles occur in everyday life! That's the way I feel, after having cataract surgery at Norton Audubon by Dr. Lloyd Taustine of the Taustine Eye Center.
Last year, due to a disease process in my right eye, I received radiation to shrink a "pseudo-tumor," and subsequently developed a fast growing cataract. My right eye vision was very poor- reading only the big 'E' on the eye chart with glasses.
After having my cataract removed and a toric lens implanted to my right eye, I am now seeing 20/20 without glasses in that eye. The surgery was easy, painless, and quick!
I've worn glasses since age 7 and I don't even remember this clarity of vision. My life feels forever changed as I go about my daily activities, including working as a registered nurse taking care of patients having cataract surgery. Now, from firsthand experience, I can honestly recommend having your cataract removed by Dr. Taustine to give yourself a chance to have vision that you may never have thought possible again. I'm so thankful that I chose the Taustine Eye Center!
Sincerely,
Grateful Patient
God Bless you and yours with health and happiness, as you so expertly provide others with the same on a daily basis!
Sincerely,
Grateful Patient
Dear Dr. Taustine,
Thank you for taking our call and seeing me so early in the morning before we went to Atlanta. We truly value your medical care and think very highly of you as a person, one who cares and is a good friend. My eye is just great!
Thank you again,
Grateful Patient
"I Can't Thank You Enough! And if i could, it would probably involve some sort of bowing or foot kissing. But I don't do that."
Dr. Taustine.
As like most men, I know you were uncomfortable with "warm fuzzies," but I want to sincerely thank you for the vision you have given me with my successful surgery and lens implant.
I truly consider it a miracle after what I've been through the last three years, particularly the last 6 months. This is better than I could have ever hoped for, and am most grateful. I do appreciate you writing the waver letter to Dr. H to help me have treatment in Cincinnati.
I did choose you since I know you are the best, and it is nice hearing most all of your patients rave about how happy they are with their first eye when they come back for their other eye. Thanks again for everything!
With appreciation for your kindness,
Grateful Patient
Letter of Thanks:
My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Drs. Kritchman and Taustine for the care they have given my husband.
He underwent Cataract Surgery on his left eye. He is a Diabetic and was really not informed that there could be any problems with his procedure. Needless to say, it did not turn out well. He was sent to a specialist, who continued to check him for the next year with his sight getting progressively worse. He felt like he was completely losing his eyesight in that eye. There was no suggestion for further treatment.
We decided at this time to make an appointment with Dr. Taustine. When I called, I was told they had a Diabetic Retinopathy specialist. We met with Dr. Kritchman. After that visit we knew we had found the right person to help us. He began Laser Treatment and has continued to work with my husband for three years. The sight is so much improved. In the meantime, it became apparent that he needed the Cataract removed on his right eye.
In steps Dr. Taustine. He performed surgery with the understanding that there could be some problems again because of the Diabetes but if that occurred, Dr. Kritchman would be right to the rescue. The surgery went extremely well! Some bleeding did occur, however as promised, Dr. Kritchman was right there and began treatment to correct the problem.
We are just about at the end of the road. Problems are fewer and we have Drs. Kritchman and Taustine to thank. Don't ever take your eyesight for granted. We are just so grateful to these Professionals and the Madison, Indiana office and staff!
Sincerely,
Grateful patient
Attention:
Tell Dr. Taustine I said thanks. He helped me with my eye problem more than any Doctor that I had seen in several years. The Restasis has really helped!
Sincerly,
Grateful Patient
